There are 6 bit accessories included with the Cuccio Max Pro 35k E-File.
Here is a short guide as to what each bit is used for*:
MANDREL with Sanding Bands
The mandrel and sanding bands are the original bits for E-files due to their versatility and the safest bits for the natural nail due to their emery board like texture.
Sanding bands come in different courses: Fine, Medium & Course
Fine: use to gently texture nail ready for acrylic application or gentle removal of stubborn product
Medium: cuticle work, under the nail and around tips
Course: to shorten nail extensions during infills or new sets.
SMALL BARREL BIT
This is a gentle fine bit to smooth out the surface of nail extensions, clean around the cuticle curves.
Uses: Gentle surface work
LARGE BARREL BIT
This has a courser grit so caution must be applied with the correct power level and NOT on natural nails.
Uses: Smooth out acrylic, dipping powder and gel finishes. Due to the sharp grit, this bit can debulk acrylic, thin down hard gels to speed up the removal. Remaining 20-30% of the residue acrylic or hard gel should then be soaked off in your preferred soak off solution or acetone.
CONE BIT
Uses: This precision bit is ideal for side walls, removing excess under the nails and cuticle work.
NEEDLE HEAD BIT
Like the Cone Bit due to its precision head, this again is a preferred bit for cleaning under the nails and smaller cuticles.
Uses: Nail Edge Work
SAFETY BIT
The name says it all, you cannot cut or damage your clients due to the wide soft barrel shape. It has multiple uses.
Uses: removal of acrylic/hard gels as well as breaking top seal from gel polish to aid removal.
