Review of the Year
2021 – ‘That’s a Wrap’ or is it – do you still have more gifts to beautify? Surely not? Are you a fancy wrapper – all ribbons and bows or do you like the less is more effect. This is certainly true of nail designs and we have seen some beautiful creations from you this year, you really are a talented group of people and we love you for it, please don’t stop! Here at head office, I know we all enjoy scrolling through to see the incredible designs every day – just amazing!
Everyone has their personal tastes, which is what makes us all unique and I like to think that Cuccio have something to offer everyone.
Here at Cuccio we are hurtling toward 5pm on 23rd December when we can tuck up all the polishes, veneers, body butters, scrubs, files, boards, buffers and blocks and head off to enjoy a well-deserved festive break with our loved ones.
I don’t know about you, but I feel that Christmas has come around all too soon and the year has passed in a blink of an eye. I don’t really want to mention the C-word as I feel the pandemic has worn us out to the extent that the fatigue is truly real and we are all feeling it immensely. It has been a large part of our lives again this year and I fear it will do for some time to come, but we can look at the positives that these challenges bring. We have been able to stop, think and evaluate our personal situations and I expect a lot of change has taken place in all our lives. Our mental health has certainly been impacted and this in turn effects our everyday lives and those around us.
I hope that the year has been kind to you in some ways and I hope that next year is even kinder. We still have a way to go, December 21st is the longest day and with that behind us we can look forward to New Year and all it brings. We can spend a while and daydream about the Spring season when the dainty new flowers start breaking through, the early morning sunshine creates the idyllic backdrop and the birdsong fills our ears. Spring is my favourite season of all, it depicts new beginnings, re-birth and growth and so whilst 2021 certainly had its highs and lows for everyone, let us look forward together with positivity to a brand-new start in 2022.
