What is the difference between the 2 Cuccio Base Coats?
Cuccio have 2 Base Coats that can be used with Cuccio Veneer Gel Polish, the Step 3 Base and Universal Rubber Base.
We have detailed the uses of each below and hope this helps you choose the one right for you..
Step 3 Base Coat
This base coat is to be applied prior to any Veneer Gel Polish colour application.
To get the best out of your products it is imperative to use Step 1 Prep & Step 2 Fuse prior to application.
The consistency of this base is thin so make sure that you don’t pack to much onto your brush as it will run everywhere when it goes onto the nail, having just enough on your brush will mean that you don’t have product running into the side walls and cuticle area which could potentially cause a reaction and will cause lifting to the gel.
It can be cured under Cuccio 36 Watt UV lamp for 2 minutes or 30 seconds under the Cuccio LED lamp.
Available in:
– 9ml, 13ml, 75ml
Universal (rubber) base
The Universal Base Coat is a rubber base coat which has a thicker consistency. This means it will add super strength to the natural nail which is fantastic for the clients that want to grow out their natural nail rather than having extensions.
The thicker consistency of this base will smooth out ridges and any imperfections in the nail meaning your colour will glide on the nail smoother than it would with the ridges and imperfections still on the nail.
This base has the same longevity as the Veneer Step 3 Base, however the Universal Base will soak off quicker which is what we all want to hear! Cure under a 36 Watt UV lamp for 2 minutes or for 30 seconds under the Cuccio LED lamp.
Available in:
– 9ml, 13ml
