A Guide to Cuccio Tips

In this blog I am going to be taking you through all of the different tips that Cuccio do, it can be hard to see what the differences are in them all, when I first started as a tech, tips were just tips but now there is something for everyone!

Ultra Clear Tips

These are amazing for doing nail art on a clear nail, encapsuled glitter looks incredible as you really get the true colours from the glitter! The ultra clear tips are a good one to have in your kit as they fit all nail beds along with having reinforced side walls for that extra strength when extending the nail.

Vamp Tips

These gorgeous crystal-clear tips are in the most stunning shape, its an extreme stiletto shape which will look incredible on all nails, especially if you want something a little extra! This tip has no well in it which means you don’t have to blend, cut or shape the tip, saving you time on tip application means you can get straight into building the nail ready for some gorgeous colour!

French White Tips

A French manicured tip which requires no blending, this will save you so much time. It is tapered in slightly so this is good for if you want coffin / rounded shape to the nail. Having the French tip saves so much time as you don’t have to do the smile line with gel / acrylic.

Seamless French White Tips

This tip is stunning, it is seamless which means no blending, saving you time. A gorgeous deep smile line which will look incredibly flawless with minimal work. This tip does all the work for you, it fits beautifully onto the nail bed, once cut down to size it only needs minimal shaping for that sharp square look.

Ultra Wear Tips

These are Cuccio’s most popular tips, they have a gentle upper arch & C curve with parallel side walls, they are a brilliant entry level tip for someone starting out, they are a staple in my kit as they fit every nail bed that I have ever come across. With the well in the tip it makes application simple, blending is a breeze & they are amazing to shape, you cannot go wrong with these tips.

C Curve Tips

This is the strongest & most curved of all of the Cuccio tips, the upper arch is well defined & the c curve is deep. It is in a natural colour so it will go lovely under any gel / acrylic that you will be applying to the nail. It has got a well in it so its easier to apply the glue to the tip for the application process. The well means it will need to be blended into the nail prior to any gel / acrylic being applied.

High C Curve Definition Tips

Gorgeous for achieving that high c curve look to the nail with minimal effort as the tip does all the work for you, it is seamless so there is no well so you don’t need to blend the tip out into the nail bed. It is a thin tip so this will give you a really natural finish to the nail, they are also easy to cut a shape due to the thinness on the tip.
